Now that you are a J&C Couple, we need to setup your engagement session! Think of your engagement session as a warmup for your wedding day. Expect it to be relaxed, safe and enjoyable. We deliver your images in a gallery where you can share and use your photos however you like - your wedding website, Save the Date cards, etc. Some couples even use their images for their wedding invitations!

We like to meet our potential couples in person so we will invite you to coffee or drinks to celebrate you and discuss details of the J&C wedding experience. If you have a destination wedding, no worries - we can easily meet over Zoom or Skype. Right after this meeting we secure your date with a booking contract! Now you are officially a J&C Couple!

We hop on a phone call together so we can chat about all your hopes and dreams for your wedding. Feeling uncertain about your wedding details? No worries, we gotcha covered. The point of this call is just for us to get to know you and you get to hear from us.

Make this a special date night! Grab your sweetheart and a glass of wine, then open your photos and enjoy reliving your wedding day through your images. Get comfy because there will be literally hundreds and hundreds of photos! If you ordered an optional wedding album, we will connect with you to discuss images you want to use.

The Big reveal!

This is when you get to relax and celebrate your marriage and let us capture the moments! For you, this day is a blur which is why we work hard to capture all the traditional photos as well as the many precious, candid moments in between. Getting to meet and photograph your parents, family and closest friends is something we love because it helps us get to know you even better. Your wedding day images will tell the story of the beginning of your marriage, so we always shoot for at least 8-10 hours.

As your date approaches, we will actively communicate about many, many details to make sure you are ready for your wedding day. You will receive a custom timeline based on our conversations so we can ensure we get the most beautiful lighting, especially if your wedding is outdoors. As we get even closer to your day, we will collaborate over a shot list, so you don’t miss out on any of those timeless photos that are so important.
